The U.S. International Trade Commission has voted to institute an investigation into Nintendo for importing products that may infringe on a US patent. The investigation is based on a complaint filed by Gamevice, Inc. on March 30, 2018. The complaint alleges Nintendo violated section 337 of the Tariff Act by importing “certain portable gaming console systems with attachable handheld controllers and components thereof.”

Loved Callisto Protocol alot though it did walk a little too closely in Dead Space's shadow. Would be great to see them seperate more in a sequel.

So why did they wait for almost two years to file when they knew about the Switch since late 2016?
I don't claim to be a lawyer but wouldn't the fact that the joycons are a required part of it (in portable mode) make it different than an add on that has no connection to the devices hardware? I also thought ideas aren't patentable otherwise only 1 company would be making phones or tvs, the way it works is nothing like the way that garbage accessory worked
