Agreed Spider-Man is gonna be special-and so will Detroit, but QD games are often polarizing. But ya gotta love Sony’s willingness to take risks and invest in a variety of projects

Detroit is a game as much as any other as it still requires to have a controller and press buttons to interact with it. We arte not in position to tell game developers what they should do or what they shouldn't... Let them do their thing they are good at and rate the game on its own merits

what fair point? the game is exactly like what they intended to do and promised and I think they will deliver like they did with Heavy Rain and Beyond Two Souls. the make story driven, multiple path game based on players decisions and they are the true evolution of the old games of point and click adventure.

I don't get why QD are getting trolled about it, yet, I rarely hear people troll TellTales Games which are doing almost the same thing but, in my opinion, much worse! the amount of so called "gameplay" in the whole series of TellTales Batman for example, is ridiculously scarce and most of the time you only choose what to say. I had more fun and interaction playing the Beyond Two Souls demo than the 5 episodes of Batman and that speaks volume!

at least QD is innovative and explore uncharted waters with their IPs instead of banking on popular and established IPs like what TellTales is doing. one license "game" after another...always playing it safe, outdated graphics, non-optimised performance and so on.

there is a place and market for QD's games and I think it would be unfair to review their games if you expect it to play like other games. it's like expecting a RPG with CoD and mark it down to 5/10 because no RPG element is included. that's just DUMB!

I don't like on how many people are trashing the original trilogy as if they need to do that to make the new GOW look better.

What is even worse is this lame excuse that somehow the story in the original trilogy was somehow shallow which couldn't be further from the truth.

Or that Kratos was a bland one dimensional character which really does show that these reviewers were just listening to what GOW haters have been saying.

Kartos is by no means a one dimensional character. He is a very flawed character yes but so are many people in real life. A lot of the things that happen to him was not his fault. I would never say that Kratos is shallow. Which other game character was so tortured so much mentally that he ended up trying to commit suicide because of what he has done?
