Twinfinite Writes: The Yakuza series is known for its over-the-top violence, just as much as it is for its quirky sense of humor. With Yakuza 6: The Song of Life just around the corner, we take a look at how the rest of the series stacks up.
Missing Ishin, Kenzan, and other releases. Seems like the author doesn't like the old games as much as the new games.
Im guessing this only included the ones that came out in english
One of the most underappreciated gaming series ever. Ever single game I've played since the original on the PS2 has been an amazing experience.
I've yet to play one yet, but after watching a video of a street fight that felt like something out of Jojo... I don't know... I might have to give it a try.
Mine(of the four I have played) Tie for number 1 Yakuza Ishin and Yakuza 0...Both are masterpieces and Ishin should be imported by any fan, there are plenty of guides for it. Tied for 3 Kiwami and Six Both are good games and if they had any other title other than "Yakuza" they would be great games.
Agreed about Ishin, I imported it and loved it. Currently playing through Hokuto but the guides aren't done yet so it's a bit harder than Ishin was.
