Star Wars has always taken people to a galaxy far, far away. But what if that galaxy was an open-world for us to explore? Could that be a path to the dark side or the light? Let's tap into The Force and find out!
You mean like a certain Star Wars open world game that is on PC?...I'd love for it to come to consoles. I'm tired of paying for premium access.
make a next gen star wars open world game for consoles... that would be dope
Star Wars need some to get away from EA!
Apparently the article writer hasn't even heard of SWTOR.. granted that game has it's own problems, at the very least though it's hands down the most fleshed out Star Wars world in a video games which is most likely thanks to Karpyshyn. The biggest downside is that the world feels really static and just lacks that the joy in exploration found in almost every modern open world game. Still, what Star Wars really needs to do is rid itself of the EA curse so that someone like CDPR could create the open world Star Wars game that the IP so badly deserves.
I’m down for worlds similar to Kotor or Mass Effect, where there are multiple planets to travel to, and still have some exploration, albeit on smaller venues.
Not every single game needs to be open world. Not every open world game benefits from an open world or is interesting enough to engage players to explore and find stuff on their own.
I want a Shadows of Mordor type game with jedi and sith. That games blue print would perfectly fit light sabers and force powers, and isn't too big of a open world.
Gimme a game like Uncharted. That's what Star Wars needs
More importantly, it needs to get away from EA.
It needs vehicles in Arcade mode.
