Detective Pikachu is a weird game (not Hey You, Pikachu! weird, but still) and doesn't feel like your typical Pokémon game. You'll need to get over the fact that Pikachu's voice sounds like a retired detective who's clearly suffering from megalomania but once you're over it, you certainly can have fun with this game. The Point & Click mechanics all work perfectly although the solutions of the cases are never hard. Clearly aimed at a younger audience, an audience that will enjoy this silly Pikachu without a doubt. If you're a veteran Pokémon fan, you might want to stay away from this, it's better to remember Pikachu as the cute yellow fellow from the cartoons.
