Into the Breach – Review - Proven Gamer

Subset Games’ follow up to FTL proves they’re not just a flash in the pan. The minute to minute gameplay of Into the Breach is so much it’s own brand that if you were uninitiated to the world of indie games you’d have no reason to think the same developer made both.

A best all time mecha game list without Zone of the Enders even on the list is 100% crap to me. Worth saying twice though not intentional

Way Netflix is losing subscriptions adding a tier where you watch ads online yeah I don't see this feature lasting too long.

Tacoboto1008d ago

They lost just under half the subscribers they initially projected and project to gain the million subscribers they lost this quarter in the next.

At 220 million subscribers, that million is less than one half of one percent of their subscriber base, and they were still able to exceed the revenue that they earned this quarter last year. Disney+ meanwhile, has 130m subscribers.

Tacoboto1008d ago

Disagreeing with raw numbers isn't going to speed up any false belief that Netflix is in jeopardy

HollowIchigo251007d ago

Netlix stock was close to $600 a year ago, now it's $230. They are not *growing* which is a huge problem to any company. Netflix spend billions on shows they make, every year, they need to keep growing.

I don't think Netflix is going anywhere but they have way more competition than they did a decade ago and it shows.

HansyJ1007d ago

Yeah but you can guarantee that when the password charge is implemented much more people will be leaving including myself. I don’t think this is the end of the loss of subscribers. Furthermore I would say 95% of all Netflix owners will never play video games

roadkillers1008d ago

The only company that gets more video views per minute is YouTube. Netflix is fine. Once Squid Games 2 releases, they’ll get those subscribers back.

Sarcasm1008d ago

They lost a fraction of their subscriptions. All it shows is that they peaked and won't grow further. They'll find other ways to monetize. Not until they start losing millions and 10s of millions of subscribers before you see any real change.

A re-release of a 4 year old Nintendo Switch game? (a great game, mind you) Are they actually going to get worthwhile exclusives though? Yeaaa...

DefenderOfDoom21008d ago

Funny thing NETFLIX mentioned YOUTUBE first for reason for NETFLIX subscription losses . 90 percent of me watching TV is me watching YouTube.

deleted1008d ago

The other 10% is porn? X'D

anast1008d ago

Netflix is overpriced now.

HansyJ1007d ago (Edited 1007d ago )

And this game is absolutely not a must play Lol
