Pure PlayStation: Assassin's Creed Rogue was, in my opinion, unfortunate the release day and date with its next-gen counterpart, Assassin's Creed Unity. As everyone migrated to the newer consoles and the fancier graphics, Rogue was left to wallow in the last-gen player pool. It's a shame that it has taken so long for Ubisoft to finally get Rogue out on PS4 and Xbox One. It was a decent game back in 2014 and easily went toe-to-toe with every entry before it. But how does it hold up in 2018 where 4K televisions aren't just a nerdy wet dream? To put it in the words of the genius that is Karl Pilkington: Yeah, it's alright.
Amazon has discounted several remastered Assassin's Creed games with Assassin's Creed: The Ezio Collection dropping to $16.94 on Xbox One, Assassin's Creed Rogue Remastered to $22.99 on PS4, Assassin's Creed III: Remastered to $19.99 on PS4 and Xbox One as well as Assassin's Creed III: Remastered to $29.99 on the Nintendo Switch.
Assassin’s Creed series is making another return on the Nintendo Switch with a brand new Assassin’s Creed 4 collection that was spotted on a retailer’s website ahead of the rumored Nintendo Direct.
Leaks are coming out. I expect a Direct announcement for this week or next week at the latest.
Ac 4 is still a blast! But I’m not sure I’ll pay full asking price for this collection
This will be a great addition to the Switch library. Ubisoft has been supporting Nintendo since day one. Glad to see Nintendo getting the support they deserve.
Paying full price for a game that came out 6/7 years ago with even lower graphics is not what I call great support tbh. 😔😔😔
I can get assassin's creed odyssey on ps4/xone for the same price.
Support is actively producing games and content for a system, the price itself is not support.
Also AC3 remaster didn't launch at fullprice on switch, neither did 4 on the Wii U if my memory is correct
I have this for my Wii U, and it was part of Games With Gold so I downloaded it for my 1X too. I hope they can run the game on Switch with PS4/Xbox resolution and graphics, the frame rate was good on Wii U, the graphics were better on Wii U than PS360, but not on par with X1/PS3.
The series has been going over 10 years with numerous titles spawned. But what are the best games from Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed series?
AC1. The free running had never been like that before, it was absolutely amazing to behold. No sequel has ever captured that magic of the first, it's just been more of the same ever since.
No sequel ever had the constant freezing of the 1st either. I loved AC1 when it came out but it is the worst of the franchise.
I hated the pirate ship battles in BF. I just sucked at them & it took me 6 hours on one of the battles (against one ship) lol. I don’t have a favorite tho.
My main reason I disliked BF is because it seemed it focused much more at sea battle than land,which was such a turn off to me.

BF was definitely my favorite but, admittedly, I haven't played Rogue, Syndicate, or Origins (yet). I'm just a sucker for a good pirate game.
Was really hoping Skull and Bones was going to be more than an online only game.
Wish it was more of a pirate RPG with AC mechanics. Woulda been amazing. Unfortunately that doesn't sound like the case, as you won't be able to get off your ship apart from in your shipyard.
I like their list but Brotherhood is arguably better than 2. It's easily better than Rogue.
Agreed, while AC1 was the alpha/beta of what they really wanted the franchise to be, 2 was the true finished product, and Brotherhood polished that up without hurting anything else. Brotherhood was the most fun I've had as an assassin.
I would have thrown AC 2 on the number one spot and moved BF to number 2. Ezio is the best Assassin out of the whole franchise.
AC II got me into the series. I hated AC 1
For me I'm loving Odyssey new RPG style makes it feel like the Witcher but Assassin's Creed elements.
