While Anna's Ice Cream has some interesting elements, such as the flavor mini game and serving monkeys, it can suffer from slow pacing. The ice cream theme has been well used in casual games, so it lacks originality. While it's a okay game on it's own, with so many time management games to compare it to, it doesn't really stand out as unique or particularly exciting to play.
Casual Review writes: "We love ice cream. We've dreamt of a game where you can scoop and scoop and scoop ice cream, with a whole rainbow of flavors and toppings to choose from. And at first we were disappointed with Anna's Ice Cream, when all you could do at the start was serve one flavor (vanilla) and one topping (cherry) on a new system that we didn't warm up to immediately. But we're glad we stuck with it, because the more you play it, the yummier it gets."
