Total War: Arena isn’t a Bad Experience, But it is Not Quite Total War

The Total War multiplayer experiment hit Wargaming in open beta in February. Although the controls and look of the game will be familiar to Total War fans, it’s an entirely different experience and I'm not quite sure who it is for.

Total War: Arena closing its doors for good in February 2019

Creative Assembly have just announced that Total War: Arena will be shutting its doors for good after just one year on the market, having failed to fulfill the company's expectations. There's free gifts involved too, if you're interested.

I'm glad they're getting rid of this. Focus all on three kingdoms.

I do wonder already what's next. I would like to see them take on the lord of the rings license. Or a medieval 3. I wonder if they'd make another game like empire as well. Could also be a good moment to return after 10 years
