All 22 Bloodborne Bosses Ranked From Hardest to Slightly Less Hard

One could argue that Bloodborne is the toughest game From Software has produced yet. We're going to take a look at all of the bosses in the game, including the ones from the Old Hunters DLC, and rank them, starting with the easiest.

I remember a few of these just getting to me where I'd want to snap my controller, but I made it. The boss was very annoying, especially when trying to *spoilers* initiate the alternate endings after you managed to kill the initial final boss dozens of times prior.

The list is very subjective and being twinfinite it takes 100 clicks to get through it.

Having Gehrman near the top of the list is a joke. He is probably my favourite boss fight of the entire game, especially with the epic music and setting with the flowers, moon, etc. That said he is comparatively easy once you know how to counter, which one should have figured out by this point in the game.

i honestly think thsi list is in the wrong order, Orphan of Kos is liek the hardest boss because of the speed and hitting power, not to mention the range

I hated that boss, but I don't think Kos was the hardest one. I had more trouble with the Watchdog boss in the Defiled Chalice dungeon as well as Ludwig, and Laurence the First Vicar.

Orphan of Kos is up there with his aggressiveness and speed. But honestly to me Ludwig was just flat out demoralizing. Maybe it's because I played The Old Hunters on NG+, but I reached Ludwig on level 60 and died over and over to the point where I gave up, got to the end of the main game before finally revisiting and beating him when I was level 120.

Ludwig is insane especially to solo. In fact I don't think I can beat him solo from memory and I have completed the game a lot of times. People who don't find him hard are generally using co-op I think.

Ebrietas is absolutely the toughest boss in the main game(outside of chalices and DLC). It is not even debatable.

Orphan of Kos is the hardest.
But I still can't get over how cheap Laurence he's too cheap at NG+6 at least Kos give me spaces to move about laurence making wide attacks in the church results in a lot of one shot deaths.
Laurence is just cheap ass mofo nothing more.

I can agree with the first three, although I had a lot more trouble with Laurence than with either Ludwig or the Orphan of Kos. Ludwig and the Orphan were both making me controller-smashing-mad, but the death count on my first Laurence boss fight was basically Ludwig + Orphan. Damn near gave up on it, but I didn't since he was the last remaining boss in that playthrough.

I had a much harder time with Micolash than with Logarius, for some nonsensical reason

Orphan of Kos is definitely the hardest. Those two giant sharks mini-bosses were a real pain in the a** too. But the reward did worth the pain.

The ones that really stood out in the sense of blocking progression and having a huge learning curve:
- Bloodstarved beast because of the step up in difficulty from anything that came before. Although i did really enjoy the learning curve. It was difficult but fair.
- The dead castle roof boss, I had so many attempts on him untill I just gave up and tried again when I was more leveled. Then he went down first try. This was basically a level check where the boss does so much damage the fight came down to my HP bar staying red.
- Ebrietas for feeling like something litterally out of this world, and that’s quite something in a bloodborn game, Unlike bloodstarved beast I did not enjoy this fight because the mechanics didnt interact nicely with what the hunter was capable of.
- Ludwig, wow what an amazing encounter was this. It was probably the best fight in the game for me and felt like such an accomplishment when beating him. The learning curve was incredibly steep, but the mechanics were fair, when you die a hundred times because of making mistakes untill you can actually do the dance and not get hit a single time on your bosskill that for me is a perfect boss.
- The first vicar, this boss was more of an annoyance than anything else. Often feeling like it was cheesing the fight. This boss made me so annoyed that from software would feel okay to implement such a ridiculous fight it almost felt like they were uninspired at this point and thought, screw it, let’s just make it hit hard with a lot of HP.
