Media Create Sales: 2/26/18 – 3/4/18

The Switch version of Dragon Quest Builders sold 28,430 copies during its first week of release in Japan, the latest Media Create sales figures reveal. To compare, the PS Vita version opened at 178,016 sales, the PlayStation 4 version at 141,369 sales, and the PlayStation 3 version at 53,154 sales when the game initially launched back in January 2016.

MHW is at 2 million sold physical only, and digital was 600k for the first 3 days only, so that's already 2.6 million.

Or Sony just lost. They lost last week. Well, unlile SOC in Japan, Bayo 2 is holding up. And DQB is gonna sell at least 80-100k unlole SOC. Sadly, that game bombed hard in Japan. Amd shortages or excuses for the ps4 shortages?

Remakes don't sell great in Japan. Unless it is Pokemon or MK.

The 2 million was counting the 600k too. You know that right? And the ps4 will continue to lose to the Switch in Japan. If Sony loses, they lose. Nothing you can do about it. Just enjoy your games and let the chips fall where they may. Sony has sold more than Nintendo this year in Japan so far, but it won't by the end of the year. And, I know MHW will outsell Splatoon eventually. MH games regardless of system, sell 3 to 4 million. And this is not the UK charts, this is Japan. I am sad SOC didn't sell well in Japan. It is a great game.

MHW is at 2 mil retail, and had close to 50% digital sales too, so it's reasonable to assume that MHW is around 3 mil in total already.
