So upon hearing that the original N64 Turok and Turok 2 were getting a remastered release on Xbox One, I must admit I got a little excited. There hasn’t been a Turok game since the very average Xbox 360 game Turok Evolution which didn’t quite live up to its expectations and felt like a bit of a missed opportunity. The original Turok games however were known as being well made solid first person shooters in the late 90’s and had a hefty cult following, still even today people go on about the ‘classic’ games in the Turok series.

Turok Remastered for Xbox One Rated By PEGI but Turok 2: Seeds of Evil is yet to be seen as the publisher did state both games would come to the Xbox One.

I would pull my X1 out of the closet for this. I loved playing them on the N64, but was too young to really play them correctly (I used cheat codes).
I would love to give a legit playthrough a shot.
n64 games have not aged well at all and there not as pretty as 8 bit or 16 bit retro games released for new systems.
I would rather have a brand new Turok game in the same type of way Horizon was.
I wouldn't say that. Turok 1 and 2 to this day are still solid shooters with interesting weapons and level design.
Also, considering it's lack of texture crawl compared to the PS1, N64's games still hold up well in emulation and look great upscaled.
Loved turok back in the day and still do, but when i played it around 1.5 years back i noticed that it really didn't age well. Still had a great time though.
