IGN: 9 Videogame Composers to Watch

In the past couple of decades or so the videogame industry has brought to light some truly amazing composers that might not have gotten that big break otherwise. Icons like Koji Kondo and Nobuo Uematsu have left an indelible mark on popular culture and are still going strong today. Composer Michael Giacchino started out in games and has since become a hot commodity in Hollywood scoring blockbuster films and TV shows.

Those and many others have already earned plenty of name recognition, so instead of rehashing their careers, let's take a minute here to spotlight some of the rising stars of the past few years, as well as a couple more established composers that have some new tricks up their sleeves.
