Is this an a newer/updated version(new features, etc.)of the Honey Select that launched before in Japan?
Or is it just the localization?

There is a Japanese version of the game, but "Honey Select Unlimited" is the Western localization of the game (with a handful of improvements and whatnot). It's okay, I understand =)
