Old Man's Journey Review - The Choices I Regret | Switch Era

Joshua from SwitchEra writes: "There a lot of mobile games being ported to the Switch, and I’ve played quite a bit of them. Most of them are overpriced messes that have no business being on Nintendo’s latest console. That said, every once in a while, there comes a mobile game that bucks that trend by being an unadulterated good game (after all, I can’t rave about Cat Quest enough). That brings us to Old Man’s Journey. It’s definitely a mobile game, but it’s not quite like any other I’ve played. Where does it stand among mobile ports on the Switch?"

Play Anywhere for the win!!! Always...

Play Anywhere is a great feature but it shouldn't be the headline thesis of the game itself? Is it any good? Have you guys played it? Do you recommend it? This just sounds like an advertisement.

This is more like it:

Well...news can be in the form of a lot of different approaches I guess. Take a look at all the sales articles or opinion articles we see on this site alone...i took this story as simply announcing that a game is hitting a certain platform...the same way you will see stories saying that "Days Gone hits shelves for PS4" soon enough. The "is it any good" is not really what the article is trying to ask...it isn't asking anything in that case...just being informative to those that might want to know.

This article comes from XboxHub.com...clearly, it's a website that speaks to gamers within Microsoft's ecosystem...gamers that might be looking for titles they can play on both PC and console. It's not a review, nor meant to be one.
