Unfortunately, even with PSVR’s decent library of titles, and a handful of announced games, there just aren’t many compelling full-fledged gaming experiences coming in the near future. That’s what Sony needs to focus on.
The original PSVR has a great catalogue of games, but keeping the set-up working well can be a pain.
Join us as we take you through the basic gameplay of Humanity, an action-puzzle game where you control a glowing Shiba Inu. You place commands on the ground for a giant marching horde of people to follow. Make them turn, jump, float through the air, swim, climb, etc., all to reach the goal (or goals) in each stage.
Move over “International Pickle Day,” May 16 has a new number one claim to fame: it’s the launch day for Humanity!
Better yet, it’ll be available on Day 1 as part of the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog’s May lineup, available at no additional cost to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members.
Whether you own a PS5 or PS4, are a PS VR2 or PS VR or TV-only gamer, want to craft your own levels or just sit back and enjoy some action-platforming and puzzle-strategizing, this year May 16 is going to mean more than just “National Piercing Day.”
finally!, being waiting for this game since its announcement some years ago, so many objects on screen using physics running at 60 fps is always mesmerizing to see.
Awesome. I had this on my PS wishlist and was going to buy it Day 1. Seen as I have Extra, now I don't need to!
PSVR2 support too.
Platformers are not really my thing, but I guess I can try it out on PlusExtra. In VR2 to boot.
Finally! been badgering the devs on twitter for awhile now. Demo put me in a trance and i loved it.
It needs games for sure but i really dont even like putting the thing on.. Its more trouble than what its worth to me.. Im not investing in VR again until its a smooth 4k experience with a very comfortable headset
VR period needs full games.
VR is for sure a game changer that's here to stay. But it for sure needs full length awesome games like resident evil and Skyrim!
Terrible writing. The discounts are for those looking to get more games for their library. And, for those getting into vr, they have games to buy after spending money on the headset which can be considered expensive.
PSVR has full length games right *now* and more scheduled to come in the near future and down the line. Full length is subjective. Games like skyrim are ports. And games as awesome as RE7 are barely longer than other experiences on the platform.
Then the writer discredits far point as being awful. Which is his opinion. But it's not shared by everybody. It was a good, first Gen, lengthy shooter supported by an awesome peripheral. But the writer ignores that. And ignores it's multiplayer. Or other games with multiplayer that lengthen a title's worth.
Is PSVR perfect? No. But most first platforms aren't. But they get better. Just like regular gaming starts slow at launch but builds with better games down the line when developers get used to programming.
VR gaming isn't regular gaming and shouldn't be expected to be the same. PSVR may feel light, but is definitely heavier than a hat. So, why expect gamers to sit hours with it on like a regular game? Common sense. Developers aren't going to be making games like GTA with millions of dollars spent on a smaller community. Again, common sense. So, expect shorter experiences until the community grows. That's why the discounts are there. To grow the community. Common sense.
You would think the writer would know better.
I just bought RE7 GE and I can't wait to play it using the PSVR! But most importantly for me and the one game I'm super excited to play is Ace Combat 7. It's taking so long, man :(
