Why is Everyone Excited for Another Spyro Game?

First Crash Bandicoot, then Shadow of the Colossus, and now Spyro the Dragon? Rumors suggest that Sony and Activision are teaming up to make yet an other remake. Instead of a Bandicoot, Activison and Vicarious Visions might be working on a Spyro game. The gang, explains why they think SPyro might pull bigger numbers then, the N'Sane Trilogy. Ubisoft, makes some bold claim's about lootboxes, Assassin's Creed might not be an annual series anymore. well I never played Spyro.. so getting to play a remastered trilogy definitely piques my interest.

Spyro was the first PlayStation game I ever played. So yeah, I'm frickin excited for the trilogy on PS4.

Yup, I still remember being amazed when I was like 5-years-old playing it on the original PS. Loved the second game, but never got to play the third.

Because most gamers played it when they were much younger and because we live in an age where every game must have every popular element and be overly complicated to accommodate as many features as you can possibly cram in an open world semi rpg action adventure with multiplayer features and 2 year dlc plans and multiple game modes, protagonists, genders, races etc.

These are throwbacks to simpler times, when games were clunky and simplistic yet fun and exciting. I welcome it, as do many other gamers.

Next to God of War and RDR2, my most anticipated upcoming game is the Medievil remake.
