New trailer all but confirmed for Cyberpunk 2077.
Have a feeling this game will steal some spotlight at E3 this year. Not sure what the mods have against this game. The upcoming trailer story broke yesterday and has half-a-dozen submissions from various N4G users but keep getting failed.
"steal some spotlight " is an understatement. Cyberpunk 2077 and Red Dead Redemption 2 will likely steal most of E3 spotlight.
Yeah, no, I think between Ghosts of Tsushima, Last of Us: Part II, Red Dead Redemption 2, Days Gone, Anthem, Detroit: Become Human and Death Stranding it's going to be a tight squeeze.
Rockstar is never at E3 though. Not saying there won't be a new trailer, but it might be before the event.
Overall it looks to be the best E3. So many anticipations from the big companies.
Cant wait to see some game play on Cyberpunk. But lets be real, it wont be coming out this year. So excited this huge game is being made by a gamer friendly dev like CDPR, no need to worry about GaaS/MT bullshit. Day 1 limited edition buy.
And both in Sony camp. E3 should be golden this year for Sony.
only if we see game play.
Also whatever From Software shows off.
not with just a stupid trailer it wont. unless i see some game play i will be disappointed. i know other games will have game play like Ghost Of Tsushma and Death Stranding, yes even Death Stranding, which was announced only a couple years ago.
you wont play death stranding anytime soon
@bolimekurac: probably sooner than Cyberpunk 2077 though right? what I'm saying is they should be showing some kind of game play by now. it was announced in 2012 for crying out loud.
xeno. detroit human will come and go its a qte game, the rest i agree with
Holiday 2018 would be a perfect release date:)
its not coming out this year...
Not coming out this year
Who knows? CD Project Red could decide to take a page from Bethesda's playbook and announce the release date a mere three months prior to it hitting shelves. It has been in development for almost six years now... [insert gif of giddy Christoph Waltz from Inglorious Bastards] 😖
They didn't really start working on it full time until Witcher 3 was finished. And didn't they just finish retooling the engine like 6 or 7 months ago? I would love to see it come out this year but I wouldn't get my hopes up.
@kmeck518 April two thousand fifteen is when Witcher went gold—with a three and a half development cycle. With how staggeringly successful that game was I would imagine it afforded them the luxury of increasing the workforce and improving the workplace. April will make three years since a dedicated team has been able to focus on Cyberpunk 2077, and roughly six years of overall general development. Don't get too excited, but, hypothesis: E3, CD Project Red announces Cyberpunk 2077 to release around October/November. Fulfills the [edit: standard] three and a half year development mould [edit: such as Witcher 3 had]. Again, [insert gif of giddy Christoph Waltz from Inglorious Bastards]. 🤫🤫🤫
They don't have the same pulling power as Bethesda do, I'm pretty sure tES and Fallout sold considerably more than the Witcher 3 (NOT saying that's indicative of quality of course)
No one knows how long CDPR has been working on this game. Retooling the engine could be after most of the game is finished. CDPR has been hush hush about it, so no telling when it'll be out.
Sweet lets see it!
My pickle trembles with the thought of exploring a Cyberpunk world built by CD Project Red
My pickle pickles further thinking about how they're going to achieve all of this, the game seems bigger than what is possible at the minute.
They’ve been working on it for at least three years. Witcher 3 came out May 2015 and they got right on to cyber punk and it’s 2018 now so maybe it’s almost done.
Yes, and they already had some people working on the game for several years before that. I think it's entirely possible for it to come out at the end of this year. If not, then almost certainly next year. I don't think CD Projekt RED will go two years or more from the announcement to the release of the game. There are too many issues with that approach and they were already negatively affected that way, so I think they will launch the game much sooner after it's announced.
3 years is very short for a project that ambitious. I'd be surprised if it releases in 2019. 2020 is a safer bet.
But will it show gameplay for how long we have been waiting since they announced it?
I love how cdpr aren't afraid to go dark and gritty.
Theres some great games incoming.. This has me very intrigued since i loved how they DID'T lootbox/microtransactio people in the witcher.. this dev team has my respect..
He’s talking about the old trailer. Talk about the media spinning a story!
My major concern for this game is the limitations of this generation of consoles. I think the Witcher 3 was already pushing the limits of what could be done in terms of dynamic world and interaction, and this game clearly seeks to push the boundaries yet again. The PS4 and XB1 are seriously getting on now, can CDPR's vision be truly realised with this game? The fact it's a big city metropolis makes it even harder...how can they sufficiently populate the city and still have dense interaction? What about enterable interiors and buildings? I'm glad I've got a decent PC now, but I still really love my PS4 (rather stupidly because I like the trophy system), so I'm really interested to see how they develop it on that.
ummm? yeah!? sure!? just show us 2 minutes of actual game play please.
Perhaps THE most awaited trailer of all at this time.
