GamerTM: Damnation – Jacob Minkoff Interview

GamerTM writes: "Damnation lead game designer Jacob Minkoff talks to us about the benefits of vertical shooters, the state of the shooter genre and aliens disguised as developers.

GAMER: Blue Omega is a developer that many of our readers may not be familiar with. Can you give us a little background about the company?

Jacob Minkoff: We're basically just a bunch of gamers who decided to try to make a business out of what we love.

Blue Omega is a cross-media company that develops both films and videogames. We started out as a small group of like-minded creative professionals who wanted to get into the entertainment business. Through our early films and our work putting together a UT2k4 mod (Damnation: Hell Breaks Loose), we got a handle on the production process and now we're bringing out our first game: Damnation."
