In early 2011, Atlus USA brought Radiant Historia over to the US late in the lifespan of the Nintendo DS. The title, while universally praised by critics, didn’t garner the enormous commercial success it probably deserved and was somewhat passed over by many in the handheld community, myself included. It’s a bit odd that as fate would have it, Atlus chose to bring an updated remake of the DS classic to the 3DS while the 3DS seems to be on its last legs. Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology takes the original formula, expands on it, adds full voice acting and animated cutscenes. But in 2018, with the Nintendo Switch off and running, are those tweaks enough to take an already good game and make it great?

There is absolutely nothing defining about dragon age XI. It was a good game but didn't do anything new or substantial for the genre....as well as most of the games on this list.
It's just every JRPG cliche in one game with boring combat. There are many better JRPGS than it
Anime characters, mechs (maybe) same character types, etc. You could almost take a few games at random and switch the characters around and it would be the same.
NPCs are crap. The ones in Persona 5 might as well not exist. The character animations are crap too.
I played through both Xenoblade and Fire Emblem Awakening recently and they are amazing games
I played every game on the list and can't argue that each is awesome. I might have added FFXV somewhere but that is a personal preference.
Xenoblade Chronicles needs a graphical upgrade. The limitations of the Wii really show. Xenoblade Chronicles X, looked and played fantastic on Wii U. I picked up The OG Xenoblade Chronicles, after playing X on Wii U. I just couldn't get over the blurriness of the OG.
You're in luck, it's getting one on Switch next year. And they're adding unfinished content from the original game.
