Not to diminish the accomplishments of this remake, but it's all possible because Team Ico's Shadow of the Colossus is so impossibly perfect. It's epic and majestic and emotional and imaginative and breathtaking. There are so many superlative adjectives you could attach. Shadow of the Colossus' reputation is as great as some of its tallest colossi. This remake might just help some people see that a little more clearly.
The PS2 is one of the most celebrated consoles of all time, and what makes it better is that a lot of its games have managed to age better than most.
As PlayStation celebrates its 30th anniversary, let's explore the best PlayStation games Sony has to offer.
There's too many games to choose from
No Metal geat solid 1,2,3,4?
No Resident evil?
No Silent hill?
No Midnight club 3?
No NfS Underground 2?
No Final Fantasy?
No Burnout 3?
No Dragon quest 8?
No Days gone?
No Ace combat?
No Tekken/Soul calibur?......

PS1 era was full of great RPGs, PS2 was racing generation i would pick top 200 and even that would be just a fraction.
Shadow of the Colossus, Okami, and Silent Hill 2 are some examples of games that still offer a mighty good time in 2024 if you pick them up today.
Saved you a click.

My entire list and more is from the ps1
Can't wait to dive back into this world!
Bluepoint games' future is bright. I wonder when they'll be making their own big game?
A 10???? Man GTFO with that BS! If the controls are anything like the PS2 versions, which multiple sitesa have already said they are then there is NO WAY this game is a 10. the controls are what hindered the game on PS2. Sure the graphics are nice but this game's controls, along with a large boring world and extremely repetitive game play do not warrant it a 10.
Game reviewers need to stop judging games by their graphics. I am looking at you Uncharted 4, Horizon ZD and now this....
Yep its really is one of a kind.
Never played a game where I felt like completely transported into another fantastical world/atmosphere .
A game which despite how simple it was it was so complex.
A game where hardly anyone said anything but said so much
A game where you don't kill countless bad guys but still has amazing gameplay
A game where you kill the enemies but you feel the toll on you physically and emotionally
A game without cutscenes but it has full raw emotions in it similar to games like MGS.
A game with perhaps the greatest love story that was never told.
Respect
I'm really hoping they're working on a Ico remake!!!
