awesome, I really hope this game has a lot of great continuation of dlc.

It will. Capcom is notorious for a tin of MTXs. Though they are usually cosmetic and not super expensive. And for a game you can easily log hundreds of hours in, it's not so bad! Loving it so far. Wish I had more time to play!

Capcom is notorious for it. But the MH series always had things like this for free. I never paid anything extra for Link and Samus in the previous 3DS games. So I guess we'll see.

Ppl have been down on Capcom but in the past 1 year they have released three great games. RE7, SFV Arcade (88 Meta), Monster Hunter World. I'm happy to see Capcom put out some quality games and hopefully have some commercial success..Now, hopefully this crossover encourages ppl to buy SFV Arcade bc Street Fighter V is a fantastic game right now and it deserves to be played.

It will. The MH games on Nintendo had tons of cool dlc like this. It was free also.

They let you play as Mario, Link, Samus, and loads more.

MHW has said it will have free small and large updates, so I don't know if they will charge for things like this or not.

No, he should be a monster that we hunt. That guy is craziest and beastly as you can get.

FallenAngel19842281d ago

Dudes not large enough to be worth a hunt

I want Asuras Wrath 2 so bad, I'd even take a remaster at this point.

How about he is an npc hunter in the jungle that we stumble upon during the hunt. He attack us cause we taking his goods. It would be crazy to fight him (despite his size) because he beat a diety that is bigger than the earth. No monsters ever bigger than that. And then we can use his character afterward. It is like a passage of rite.

Megaman, Horizon, SF, etc... so cool. I love how this game is part games as a service but stays true to the core RPG element.

I've never been into this series... until now.
I tried MHF: Unite on PSP, but it wasn't for me. I'm loving MHW though.

A Late Look: Monster Hunter: World

VGChartz's Mark Nielsen: "While it was a mixed pleasure overall - at times exhilarating, at others agonizing - I would have to say I enjoyed my time with Monster Hunter: World and found it to be surprisingly addicting. It wouldn’t be wrong to say that I was surprised by how little had changed from previous titles, given how this particular entry took the series to unheard levels of popularity, but while it retains both positives and negatives from them, at the very least it’s a stellar-looking game that brings more freedom to the hunt than any of its predecessors (Monster Hunter Rise could possibly be a different story, but that, my friends, is a game for another article)."
