All the praise words for the body of this review and hardly any negative yet Gamstop gives it an 8????
Wat???
They praised the accessibilty ang tight gameplay that is faithful to the original.
How ironic!
Oh because its a PS4 game & not a Nintendo game and its not on Switch.

Why are these corporate reviewers so hard on PS4 and Xbox?

That is criminally unfair bais especially the high quality of polish and work these developers put on these cutting edge forward thinking UHD games.
But underpowered inferior over priced Switch games get higher scores. It does not make any logical sense.

8 is still great, I kinda respect reviewers that are not giving 9-10 to everything they play. *Cough*IGN*Cough*

Lol like they they gave DBFZ an 8.5 despite the fact they freely admitted that over half their online games were a laggy mess but it's okay because ASW "might" patch it in the future smh. I'm stupidly hyped for DBFZ and about to go play it now in fact but with such a poor experience of online in a game where online is integral to it's longevity, how can they not knock points off for that temporarily until a fix is released?

This isn't even a bad score. All of nintendos games got plenty of 8s and below so I don't see your point.

PapaBop2340d ago

Honestly, I think the likes of IGN have been handing out too high of scores recently. I'll judge MHW for myself in the morning but I think 8 is still a great review in my eyes.

What does this review have anything to do with the Switch? The game isn’t even on the Switch for crying out loud. Let just stop blaming everything on the Switch as you usually do.

“That is criminally unfair bais especially the high quality of polish and work these developers put on these cutting edge forward thinking UHD games. “

By that logic then every UHD games deserve to be games of the decade. Get real man.

The Nintendo loyalits in the gaming media has an agenda to make Nintendo look like they have changed for the better.

This bias to make Nintendolook great again is harming the industry's in avery negative way because of this brand association.

Many progress driven game developers are negatively affected by this unfair treatment while profit driven Nintendo gets a pass all the time becuase of nostalgia.

Let Nintendo earn their success fair and square.

“The Nintendo loyalits in the gaming media has an agenda to make Nintendo look like they have changed for the better.”

They make new games. They makes new console that people actually want. So what else you want them to do?

“This bias to make Nintendolook great again is harming the industry's in avery negative way because of this brand association. ”

Why do people need to be biased about Nintendo? Do Nintendo give them money? And I don’t see Sony or other companies stop making games because of Nintendo. So what is the harm exactly?

“Many progress driven game developers are negatively affected by this unfair treatment while profit driven Nintendo gets a pass all the time becuase of nostalgia.”

Free pass all the time? How do you explain the Wii U failure then?

A Late Look: Monster Hunter: World

VGChartz's Mark Nielsen: "While it was a mixed pleasure overall - at times exhilarating, at others agonizing - I would have to say I enjoyed my time with Monster Hunter: World and found it to be surprisingly addicting. It wouldn’t be wrong to say that I was surprised by how little had changed from previous titles, given how this particular entry took the series to unheard levels of popularity, but while it retains both positives and negatives from them, at the very least it’s a stellar-looking game that brings more freedom to the hunt than any of its predecessors (Monster Hunter Rise could possibly be a different story, but that, my friends, is a game for another article)."
