Especially being revealed in March...

Far too late.

Ni No Kuni II, Far Cry 5, Yakuza 6: The Song of Life, Sea of Thieves and God of War the next month. I think most of us will continue to move on.

I really think devs need to start looking closely at there ongoing systems in game before they launch. Now both stsrwars and destiny are revamping a bunch of their systems and laying out "planned updates" posts to try and soothe fans because they facked the games various systems at launch.

Gamers aren't dumbasses and we game for FUN, if some shit aint cool then we'll just drop it or even better never pick it up in the first place. Gaming is an expensive hobby and we are in at a gaming high right now with so many games this year, last year and next year fighting for out attention and 60 beans to drop along with.

Add in dlc, microtransactions and lootboxes on the rise this hobby is only getting more expensive and nows not the time to launch mediocre.

Retroman2280d ago

U forgot need for speed on that list to move on.

Brian76554922280d ago

Sad how much they still treat this franchise as a business through and through. In 2 months we will do this, then in 3 months after that we will release this, then in the fall we will release new dlc for $20, then next year we will do this....

Prince_TFK2280d ago

Yakuza 6, SoT, and GoW will occupy all my time.

RacerX2280d ago

"Revamped progression system."

I. E. They found a new way to get you to spend money and are ready to try it.

This game is Awsome. It's not too late at all. Been playing it non stop. Bet you haven't even played it but always the same people ready to trash it on here.

OB1Biker2280d ago (Edited 2280d ago )

I think its great if they improve the game for the many gamers playing it. I do hope they get rid of loot crates. . We ll see. My most played classes, hero etc are upgraded I mainly would like more weapon choice and more special ability. It's obviously too late for people hating the game but whatever. *shrugs*

Prubar2280d ago (Edited 2280d ago )

Yea I’ve played it since launch and am only now starting to slow down. During that time I never had a problem finding a game so all the doom and gloom posters can suck a fat one :)

MizHDTV2280d ago (Edited 2280d ago )

My only concern is I’m a lvl 38 officer and a lvl 30 overall
I got all my cards maxed out ( the ones I use) and I don’t want to lose my stuff I’ve been using

Eiyuuou2280d ago

I have and I regret buying it for 20€.

It's just not fun to me.

This isn't Destiny 2. This is Battlefront 2. They already are doing well. They took 2nd in NPD sales after COD WWII. The base is already there.

DarthMoose2280d ago (Edited 2280d ago )

Great game. Never had problems finding a match. I was honestly skeptical of buying it from all the controversy surrounding the game. I needed a good fix of Star Wars gaming after seeing the last Jedi but I wasn't really big on the first one but liked it . Well I'm super happy I bought it because I've had the most fun online in a game in a long time. The heroes vs villians mode is amazing. Really let's you feel like your reliving those epic lightsaber battles from the movies. So much to love about this game as a Star Wars fan. It's graphically a beaut and the sound track, just makes it feel like Star Wars come to life.

So they plan to start talking about the changes two months from now.....this most likely is so they can see if Disney is going to let then put loot boxes back in.

Psytrix2281d ago

Does anyone even care about this game anymore?

DarthMoose2280d ago

Lots of people do. I've been playing it non stop it a fun game.

vfl5232280d ago

I've had a lot of fun with it as well. I still have assassins creed to finish and start wolfenstein. I managed to finish super mario oddessy, but I have had alot of fun with battlefront 2 and can't seem to get back to the other ones.

_-EDMIX-_2280d ago

The millions that purchased it..

DarthMoose2280d ago

Finally someone with common sense on here.

Prince_TFK2280d ago

People that had bought it are mostl likely still play it. But it won't attract new customers as they will most likely move on to other better games come March.

Kiknyonutz2281d ago

So what about the people who purchased Start Crates? Are they now out that money because the progression system will change to support people who waited?

AnubisG2281d ago

Yeah, the ship has sailed on BF2. It's too late now EA.

Star Wars Battlefront 2 1HP Hack on PC Is Making Lobbies Unplayable; EA Issues Response

The Star Wars Battlefront 2 1HP hack is currently causing problems on PC servers, and EA has since issued a response for players.

just_looken847d ago

On the forums over 1100 post had to be made for this one response and its on console now as its a server side issue. I am with the tin foil hat people and believe there servers were breached like titanfall/apex.

https://answers.ea.com/t5/T...

I swear its on 2042 also.

slowgamer847d ago (Edited 847d ago )

People freaking suck on pc multiplayer games for cheating and doing things like this and today 2/3 of new games is some 4vs4 ass hammering contest with no story.
Where most of the game time comes from waiting on lobbies or loading screens.
