why i still like more the original look of the protagonist ?....i like it generally ,some very good improvements here and there but somewhat they couldnt touch the artistic aesthetic of the original which by the way is very present in Last Guardian .....imo Fumido's touch cannot be replicated

Great to have choices, but Performance > Cinematic any day. The buttery smoothness of riding the horse and climbing Colossi is incomparable IMO.

1. just go to the wallpaper from your PS4 using the browser, type in the address (exactly as it is in the link with caps) then press Square to make the browser full screen... Click on picture. Now scroll down to the Icon next to the like button (bottom right) and hit download / it will make it full screen -- then move the mouse off screen and take a picture using the share button.

2. then go to themes / scroll all the way down to Custom then select the pic you just took / just click on the ( all ) folder / pick the shadow pic you just did and take off dim menu bar because I already made it darker on the top and apply / your done... / enjoy

Now I don't like trolling, but honestly I would love to see an Ocarina of Time remake like this, or a brand new Zelda.

But we'll have to wait for a new Nintendo home console for that, or 5 - 6 years for a Switch 2 :(

Base ps4 is running at 1080p/30fps. Pro performance is running at 1080p/60fps. Pro cinematic is running at dynamic 4k/30fps. Hope that helps :)

I know I'll get flack for it, but I don't like it. To be clear, I think under regular circumstances the graphics of the upgraded version are fine. But the original SOTC was a different case, the graphics for its time pushed the ps2 beyond anything else both technically and artistically. This on the other hand while serviceable, is pretty much par for the course in terms of ambition.

Being the publisher who is releasing more new AAA exclusives this year than anyone (read: not re-releases), your words are hollow. New Ips, reboots, Sequels...everything can be found under the PS logo this year. The great games deserve to be timeless, and that mess that was the ps2 version can finally be played properly in full hd and beyond.

Technology has advanced so much. It's remarkable. The game looks fantastic. Still, respect where it's due. PS2 pulling this off is really incredible. I think the PS2 version will always be my favorite. The experience was totally novel. It was the perfect Swan song for a legendary console. I don't think the graphics crowd of today really appreciate how damn hard this game pushed the PS2.

There is something that's getting to me about the "hero". Rather than build the subject and then render the clothes on top of the form, they decided to build the new model with the pants and the sleeves "stuck" to him most likely to reduce calculations. The problem with this is the Ps4 version the character communicates less movement as the old model's clothes would sway and be blown about to help the character feel more a part of the action and alive. They chose to limit this affect to just his cape, and I feel it was a poor artistic choice on their part. This new model looks too solid when the original design was meant to be more organic. This also removes contrast between the hero and the Colossus, as the hero would bend like reed in the wind being tossed about by these huge, hulking, rock solid giants.
