EB: Dark Souls is far more popular than it was when it originally released, and chances are, there are those of you that got into the series after the original. No shame there, Dark Souls I, II, and III, are all great games in their own right, even if Dark Souls II is considered to be a little off compared to the other two. Let’s say you got into it late and played either one of the last two games, but never went back and gave the first one a chance. Either that, or you’ve never played ANY of them and have finally decided that now is the time to dive into the series. Whatever your reasoning is, I welcome you, fellow sun bro, to one of the greatest game series of all time!
Dark Souls Remastered was an oppurtunity for to introduce a new audience to this astounding game, but it failed to rectify the flaws that the original had due to production issues.
GF365: "Oftentimes, video games have characters who are antagonistic and really not very pleasant. Here are some of the friendliest characters in games where you might not otherwise expect to find them."

My first thought was the safe rooms in the resident evil series. When you hear that enchanting music you know you’re safe.
Afterlife in Cyberpunk 2077 is a peaceful area? Erm, hands down and very hard to miss, Misty Olszewski's Esoterica is the absolute epitome of peaceful areas in that game.
The "last of us" deer location i found to be a welcoming respite. It was nice to not have someone trying to eat me.
I pity the people on the train who watch me curse at my switch and throw it across the carriage....
"Hardest of the series"
Wrong Demon's Souls is the hardest Souls game.
