Nothing I read there convinces me that this could never happen. The 3DS has run its course. It's an old system, and a gimmicky one at that. Porting ALBW to the Switch would create a new player base for it, and would in turn help expand that player base, since it would become one more good reason to buy a Switch. (It would certainly encourage me to take the plunge. This is the one real Zelda game I've never found a way to play.) Some 3DS players may even buy it a second time, if the Switch version is enhanced enough over the more primitive 3DS capabilities.

Calling this classic feels so weird to me. It's still the newest game in the old style... hope they make another one.

I would love a remake of Link to the Past, one in a similar vain to Link's Awakening.

it was an awesome game and utilized the 3D very well on the 3DS. A Link to the Past is one of my favorite Zelda games, so this one being a true sequel to that title really hit home with me.

I bought this very long ago, and it’s still in my backlog!
