This may seem a bit random but this game is going to have online multiplayer and a multiplayer map editor, just thought i'd let you know, but it is worrying me that it's so close to launch and they still haven't publicly announced it yet, but rest assured they are in the game, just might have some bugs at launch.

I don't really want to hear crude language. However, it does add to the realism of the game by showing us what kind of people the characters are.

True. This does add to the realism, however, don't we play games to escape from reality? I'm not one who minds expletives within a context, but going overboard just for shock value, I don't care for either. Just because we know what someone is thinking doesn't mean we need to regularly hear about it.

some games have used drugs before to enhance skills, its M rated, just be aware of what you are buying if it might offend or turn you off don't buy it. I'm not a fan of far cry games in general is why I won't be buying it. To each their own though.

Wow.....I was actually thinking about buying the game seem like finally Farcry was trying something new..... Then they had to ruin a perfectly great story by over selling the plot using stereotypical crap that didn't need to be in there (and has already been done many many times before in books, movies, and even some games).

Lets trampled through a backwards town stuck in the 80s an 90s that using drugs as power ups (been done before). Religious cult that loves to use cuss words all of sudden way more than average person needs to here and used at random pointless times more likely. Probably including well other residents in town who weren't part of the cult everyone swearing, cheating, killing..... Its a regular Soap opera mixed with gaming.... we have already played this rimsical mess in other games before.

Not interested anymore to many other better more interesting games to spend my money on....

You do realize that Far Cry 5 happens in USA right? People not swearing would be about as realistic as ISIS members becoming pop stars.
The drug usage isn't really anything new, but it's also not unrealistic to expect a drug user or two in the States.

In terms of your "80s and 90s" thing, I think you need to actually look into it. There is a very real issue with some religiously-dictated closed communities in USA, i.e. the cult-like Mormon groups etc.

Far Cry 5 is trying to show an exaggerated example of that. Dunno if it's a good game until it releases though.

The rating summary basically says you play as a guy who gets into drama, does alternative drugs, curses, and can sometimes hear sexually crude language. I can't help but think that describes an actual teenager.‎ You dropped the ball ESRB! This is T for Teen!

So.....why is there an article on this? All of the Far Cry games that have been released are rated M. Far Cry 3 and 4 had drugs that enhanced your abilities and you're reporting that it is in Far Cry 5 like it's something new. Oh! And there's a few new "bad words" that "pushes bounderies". I don't get why this is a "story". Is this surprising at all? It is a video game that has an M rating. Congratulations! You cracked the code and figured out that an M rated game has some bad language and drug references! WOW

In real life drugs do boost skills, that's why they are banned from the Olympics and all professional sports. Are people afraid of realism?
Also, if you are too cowardly to play a game because it has words you don't like, maybe just don't play it or if you really want to, stop being such a p*ssy and quit being afraid of words and language. So pathetic.
