DS didn’t have nearly as strong of a first year for software that Switch had, and I’m pretty Nintendo could only manufacture a small handful at a time due to the dual screen and the fact that it was one of the first pocket devices ever to utilize a touch screen. Once DS Lite launches, followed by games like Pokemon D&P and Mario Kart DS, Switch doesn’t stand a chance.

Well, Pokemon will launch for Switch eventually. If Nintendo can drop the price or create a Switch mini like device near launch of Pokemon who knows what the Switch could be capable of.

It's not needed now, Nintendo schedule for changes is much better, after 4 years then they can experiment with mini and XL sizes and whatever.........switch have more than Pokemon to offer for the first time ever a Nintendo system have both the handheld and console team working together to make games for one system, while letting.the newbies the youngsters make games for the 3ds

It do not have to match it, but if it did that it would be amazing, no one was upset when ps3 did not match ps1 or ps2 and the ps3 still did well

I don't even know if the switch will reach 40 is fickle, hot today, not tomorrow

Lowest i think it could do is 30 million

Japan with 15 million
America with 10 million
Europe with 5 million

All of Nintendo handhelds well ds and 3ds reach 20 million and up in Japan, so even if you did not count up America and Europe sales.....the lowest the system can sell is Gamecube numbers with Japan alone......america and Europe is harder to.guess
