PlayLink’s first serious attempt at melding party gaming with conventional gaming is, if not exceptional, a success.
WTMG's Todd Eggleston writes: "Hidden Agenda is not going to be the next AAA title on everyone’s lips but it is one of the better titles for PlayLink that you will find, and definitely the most polished"
Two and a half years on, is the detective choose-your-own-adventure game Hidden Agenda worth revisiting? Jump Dash Roll stakes out this PS4 exclusive in its Brutal Backlog review.
I played this at launch, for something with a $20 launch price it wasn't bad but I felt like they should not have forced users to play with a phone.
This is a great party (3-4people) game. There really isn't much games of such production value for more than 2 people to play together in short sessions and feel like they've got somewhere.
Sorry not a fan of using a phone to play this game, console games are meant to be used by a controller and mobile games are meant to be used with a phone.
There's no Erica PlayLink branding, despite the game having been announced under the initiative. Daily Reaction is looking into if this signals the quiet death of Sony's PlayLink initiative.
"Erica is an outstanding production that may jumpstart the interactive live action game genre yet again. Even though it has its fair share of issues, Erica will definitely leave an impression on you for long after you watch the end credits roll." - A.J. Maciejewski from Video Chums
So basically an interactive movie with friends.
Not every game is for every person. But keeping this to "table top game" and "movie" length was a smart move. We immediately played again after the first play through.
Just finished this last night & It was worth my 10 dollars.
