Team Xecuter Tease Nintendo Switch Custom Firmware

The team behind a number of popular modding tools for the Xbox, Team Xecuter, has confirmed that they have successfully opened up Nintendo’s newest console to custom firmware.

Nintendo had a great chance to do this, but like always, ya blew it.

Not how it works. The display on the portable is 720 max.

You do realize the GPU has an internal real time dynamic scaler that will be easy to trigger with a CFW?
Not to mention many games such as Xenoblade for example is already 720P DOCKED .

So regardless of the GPU the screen itself can't support beyond its 720 limit. Meaning in portable mode most should already be at max for the portable state.

I'd also imagine pushing games past their peak on such a device would cause more issues in more titles rather than offer solutions.

TheUndertaker85 has no idea what you are talking about. The game can look better in portable mode even at 720 because of Dynamic Resolution . But I guess you will just be like but 720
