i know its hard to grasp but its the reality of today, even if its on steam and not windows store, you are using win10 to access it, not the ps4 or the switch

colonel and ufc, i do agree sony has top notch exclusives, they always have even though each new gen its taking longer and longer for sony to push them out, god of war, spider man and a few others are 3 to 4 years in the making, so if its ok to give sony time to push out top tier exclusives then lets do the same for ms as phil said it takes time. lets not forget when this gen started sony didnt have much the first few years and ms did even if you guys didnt like what they had to offer.

pubg however has shown taking chances to deliver something unique can easily outshine graphics and new tech and over 30mill people agree as buggy as it may be, it has gotten much much better with the patches

Then people come in and complain about it getting popular, only making it more popular.

So, instead of blaming only the bots, who were merely interested in what the news was, blame yourself for also commenting on how it's not news, even though it fits within the nature of what's allowable on here, because your comment, and all the replies increases the heat as well.

A few years ago...or so, Ohio State did a great tribute to video games during a half time show(look it up, it's awesome). No one was offended with that, and everyone thought it was pretty cool. It didn't make the top story that I recall, but it was in the top articles list.

@WilliamSheridan and @Bolimekurac PUGB is a unique game ? Well, that’s depends. But for me, it isn’t unique. There are many battles Royal games before PUGB. The way I see it, MS is playing catch-up by playing cheap. I know PUGB sold a lot, and yes it does improvement but still it should have finished and I still find this is disgusting about paying a “preview” build.

@williamsheridan - PUBG is NOT the original Battle Royale game. Brendan Greene PLAYERUNKNOWN himself developed both DayZ Arma III mod and then H1Z1. Then he did Battlegrounds. Fortnite adapted and there will be MANY more in 2018.

I expect most major FPS games to have a BR mode.

And the two big megatons would be if Blizzard or Nintendo did a Battle Royale. Both have an immense selection of characters and bring a lot of polish to the games.

@takwin ... That ARMA3 mod you are referring to, that IS PUBG. Also H1Z1 came after that, and was aided by Greene himself. Sony reached out to him to help build it. Fortnite is way later. So again, PUBG is the original. It started as an ARMA2 mod, became ARMA3. Learn your history.

As for Nintendo making a battlegrounds game, no thanks. Not looking to throw bananas or turtle shells while I search mushrooms for fire flowers. Pass.

i think they are close to announcing a release date because the promotional stuff for the game is appearing a lot more now. I like the fact that at PSX they didn't announce a release date only to delay it. I much rather them be sure and announce a solid release date than release the game than to be pushed into a corner and having to delay the game

i was thinking this is a late match title now my guess is either end of april or may. I think their original plan was to release it on march 22nd to match the release date of the first god of war game since this is kind of a soft reboot. But i think game being much bigger(25-35 hours) i much rather them take their time i don't mind waiting extra few months

the expectation from this game is HUGE. God of war slowed down and series needed a break or a refresher and this being announced the way it was clearly makes it the mascot franchise of playstation. I like the fact sony doesn't depend on one IP or mascot but kratos in my opinion is playstation domination at it's finest

i stopped buying games day one(because most needed patches to make them playable or enjoyable so wait 6 or so moths save money and get a much better product. I feel like those buying day ones are now game testers and report the issues back to developers for them to release patches) but god of war will be an exception

Why would an article need to be written about what would be blatently obvious? Power is a stupid thing to write about in that context.

But to answer the question, it remains the same as what people were saying, by providing games. Quite a few of which look better than any of those enhanced games that you see on X1X. Things like GT, Horizon, and GOW for instance look spectacular on the base PS4. They look better on the PS4P. MS does have some nice looking games on the X1X for sure, but when you put them up against Sony's stand out titles, the impressive nature of the visuals stands out more on the PS4/PS4P.

Why do people keep changing the subject? The article was about Xbox One X being more powerful, that is the challenge. If Sony want's to accept THAT challenge, then they need to make more powerful hardware themselves. That IS what that article was about.

Bringing up games and sales and anything else will not change what that article was about. Say the Xbox is dead, say it has no games, say it has no chance to catch up. It doesn't matter because that's not what that article was about.

If you want to say those things, go ahead, but leave that article out of it.

I know you upset, but even before that. Cory Barlog confirmed there won’t be sex mini game in new GOW back in 2016. All he said he want to mix it all up. Meaning he want to focus on story, characters, gameplay and exploration. That’s about it. He returned Sony Santa Monica and started making new GOW in 2014 if I remember correctly. And about God of War Accession controversy ? That wasn’t about nudity in that game, it was about the trophy which I found it was stupid for people to get oversensitive about that trophy name. I’m not saying you should get over with it, but you should see this from beginning. Even at E3 2016, Cory Barlog said Kratos to find his humanity. He is still Kratos, but he isn’t looking for revenge anymore.

It's going to be out in March. Only reason sony haven't announced it yet is because they're not sure on the exact date in march and don't want ro delay even if It's only week. Uncharted 4 was only delayed by a couple a weeks and people were mad about it. The release date will be announced soon.
