PUBG on the Xbox One is a beautiful mess

The game might be a bit of a mess, but the inherent concept of a 99 vs 1 battle royale is extremely compelling.

Goldby, you don't have to stare at the ground. The loot menu shows everything around you. Building in Fortnite is Epics own spin for battle royal.

So why is it so successful on PC which gets a ton of games? Could it be because it offers gameplay that other games just don't? No, couldn't be that.

because the game was built for pc in mind and not consoles.

mouse and keyboard allow a lot better twitch reaction than a controller does.

Fortnite realized this and thats why they dont require you to stare at the floor to pick up items, they are floating above the ground with simple button prompts to pick up items.

as for why its successful, its becasue of twitch

This game is Socom made over just open world socom, Great game. Look like it plays like it. I miss Socom fosho. I reed it for PS4 too, that way i have the game for both systems.

This Black Friday I bought a PSVR and several games. I was loving VR and getting deep into Skyrim. Then PUBG came to Xbox. I bought an Xbox One S for it. It’s almost all I have played since it came out. My poor PSVR headset is just sitting there collecting dust now.

PUBG is such a mess yet it’s the most fun I have had in a multiplayer game in almost a decade. Seriously, it’s so tense and exciting. I knew I would like it after watching Giant Bomb’s murder island streams, but I never knew I would be this swept away by it. I don’t even play with friends, but with randoms. I can’t get enough.

Even the hair textures look better.. no joke. And less dips in Frame Rate, even during the airplane.

Still needs A TON of polish but definitely the most fun multiplayer game Ive played in years.

The in game performance may be a mess,but damn it's selling. Physical copies were sold out at GAME and HMV when I checked in town today
