Gary Green said: We Europeans got royally screwed with the releases of the first six Final Fantasy games. I’m sure you’d find plenty of dodgy imports or bootlegs if you looked hard enough, but we never actually got a proper release for any of them, at least not for the first editions. There was a lot of xenophobia in gaming at the time, so anything Japanese getting released in the west at all was nothing short of a miracle. It was an ugly trend that continued well into the 2000s when worldwide releases became the new norm.
Gary Green said: We’re finding ourselves in a similar position with the Pixel Remaster edition of Final Fantasy IV as we were with Final Fantasy III since, once again, we’ve received a slightly upscaled, more vibrant port of the original game when there’s already an expanded 3D remake available. As such, we’re playing a game which, even after its long-awaited release, still lives very much in the shadow of its remake.
If only they didn't screw ps4 owners over with a physical release. I'd have ran through this in a heartbeat.
The first one I played, it was the one that made me fall in love with JRPGs and is still my favorite to this day. A masterpiece

I'd rather it play more or less the same by have the 3D chibi graphics from Ever Crisis, I don't want them to change the story like they did with FF7R.
This arguably is my best game of all time out of the 40yrs I’ve been playing videogames
