The Witcher 3 has finally received an update for the Xbox One X support and it comes with two different visual modes.
Started again last night, it looks absolutely stunning. What a great dev.
Monster from Novigrad.
Not surprised Native 4K is hard to do even for the X. This game is one of the most demanding game on PC and looks amazing! Sure hope this upgrade brings more sales to the devs :)
Not that demanding, it's fairly well optimized on PC for how nice it looks. A GTX 1060 has no problem running it at native 4k over 30fps.
You can disagree all you want, but it doesn't change reality, there's plenty of proof on youtube, lol. Sorry, if this upsets loyalists. https://www.youtube.com/wat...
You have a PC and you choose to run the game at 4k/30fps ? What a waste lol
@bluefox thats not true...rich from digital foundry clearly states he had to manually turn down settings on his gtx 1060 to 1800p same as the x to hold 30fps... and that the x actually does one better because in some areas the x will scale up to native 4k maintaining 30fps. so plz stop with the un'truths.
I believe eurogamer said that previous games for the xbo would be double their resolution. so if a game was 900p it would be 1800p on the X and then CB up to 4k. Games that were 1080p on xbo would be full 2160p on the X.... for the most part. It varies from game to game.
Digital Foundry quoted Microsoft in saying that the X is designed to output a One game at 4x the resolution with a little extra headroom. So a 1080p One game should run at 2160p, with a little headroom. 2160p is 4x more pixels than 1080p, you have to consider that it doubles the horizontal axis as well...
I was just saying this to my coworker. Because he said how demanding it was on PC
And they said xbox x is the true 4k console 😂😂😂
So let me get this straight, its the Xbox One X issue because devs have issues getting their game right?? Hmm ok
True 4K is amazing
Game looks amazing going to have to start a new playthrough
It looks so much better than on my Day One edition, the 60fps mode makes this game so much more fun in combat!
So which mode should I run the game in for my 4th playthrough?
