Extinction will not include any microtransactions, new gameplay trailer showcases skills & strategy

Maximum Games and Iron Galaxy Games have announced that their upcoming action title, Extinction, will not include any microtransactions. In addition, the publisher has released a new gameplay trailer for it, detailing its skills and strategy mechanics.

Well you would have to consider most games don't even have microtransactions in the first place.

I don't even understand the point of the publisher announcing it will not have microtransactions as if originally it was supposed to or something

It's simply sounds like this publisher is jumping on the bandwagon to try to get good publicity of making it sound like they reluctantly removed microtransactions or something lol

I mean do they want a cookie or a medal for not screwing over customers?

I don't know. I remember the team behind Daubtless promised that the game won't have any Pay-2-Win features, and yet for some reason they literally added it.
