Boot Hill Heroes Is a Gunslingin’ Good Time (Review) | Twinfinite

I’ve said before, and will surely say again, that RPGs are my favorite genre. Growing up in the golden age of SNES RPGs, I have a particular taste for what’s now “retro”-style RPGs that capture the look and feel of those days. Boot Hill Heroes is the latest in my growing library, with a well-polished 16-bit look and feel that captures a bit of the essence of some of my favorite all-time games, including Chrono Trigger and EarthBound. Tossing all of these elements into a campy Wild West setting seemed a bit strange to me at first, but as I played on, it (mostly) grew on me.
