One could think that they should be working on a truer to form port for ps4 but I guess money is king once again. Maybe their deal with MS inludes console time exclusivity, who knows really.

DillyDilly2333d ago

Or the deal with MS is console exclusivity ? Putting the game on mobile is an entirely different platform

bluefox7552333d ago

It is timed. How long that time is remains to be seen. https://www.bloomberg.com/n...

Eonjay2333d ago

What does any of this have to do with Microsoft's timed deal or it coming to other consoles? And I can't be the only one alarmed that they want to do this... can I?

Cmv382333d ago

Resources being put to better use for gamers rather than the general casual gamer or consumer.

morganfell2333d ago

I do not think it is a major affair. People are over estimating the console impact. I remember when CS:GO was the PC king and they brought it to consoles. Look what happened there.

UltraNova2333d ago

Cant deny that too. I guess we will see how PUGB does on xbox; but if it goes anything like CS:GO then I cant help but doubt its success on mobile to begin with.

Goldby2333d ago

Finish the PC version first, afterall it's going up against completed games in about a week for goty

Relientk772333d ago

Yeah because this is what people want

Pandamobile2333d ago

You really underestimate the Chinese gaming market.

ravinash2333d ago

Well if their off playing the mobile version, hopefully there will be less cheaters on the PC version.

iNcRiMiNaTi2333d ago

"The Chinese source also reported that the title is expected to release in China first, followed by the rest of the world allowing Chinese gamers to jump into the game first."

Lol game is gonna be ruined at launch for the rest of the world. Chinese hackers are running rampant in all the servers on the PC, this mobile version is gonna be DoA

Yohshida2333d ago

probably will be china only

Hanzala from eXputer: "With Ubisoft's practices becoming increasingly anti-consumer lately, the destruction of The Sands of Time Remake looks almost inevitable."

Hey Ubi, here's a gun, don't shoot yourself in the foot.

*Ubi takes gun, aims at foot, empties clip*

At this point, only dummies have any hope left for Ubi-junk games.

roadkillers16h ago

It's a business tho..TakeTwo has 11,600 people, which means they let go around 600 people. There was probably a lot if bloat, but did anyone report about TakeTwo giving any "stimulus" to the employees laid off?

$35 million is being spent on severance pay. That's roughly $58,000 per employee, which probably includes continued benefits and pay after seperation. Can we get more of a report on how TakeTwo is supporting those let go?

roadkillers14h ago

^ That's if the averages worked out. We don't know if its like that or if a big shot got $30 million while others got dirt...

That's why we need journalists to dig in instead of these shallow news reports.

ConsoleAgnostic13h ago

Severance is great but the problem is the industry is experiencing layoffs all over, which makes it very hard for a lot of these people to get back into a job. The issue is these companies are expecting higher revenue every year, and when they have a year where they make the same amount or a little bit less all hell breaks loose. The only silver lining I'm seeing here is that a lot of these people will go on to create smaller indie studios and hopefully create something.

jwillj2k416h ago

There should be a law that says you can’t get rid of employees just for profits without executives taking a x % pay cut first. Encourage them to figure something else out.

redknight8015h ago

100% agree! I understand layoffs are a necessity sometimes but in addition to that, yeah, the CEO should not have their bonuses paid out that year; at the very minimum.

jwillj2k414h ago

Anyone who disagrees hasn’t felt the turmoil of being laid off.

blacktiger14h ago

They haven't even released the game, previous game made 10000% percent profits and then layoff?

Relientk7714h ago

Should be canceling the casino simulator sports games, but I know it's not them. It better not affect BioShock 4 and the Borderlands games

"Invincible" AAA Game Crowdfunding Campaign Launched by Skybound

Skybound Entertainment has launched the crowdfunding campaign for its AAA Invincible game with a minimum investment set at $100.

phoenixwing2d ago

These ppl are terrible. expecting gamers to pick up the dev costs with high as he'll initial investment. When they probably already have the funds considering they already hired a team of 30 and have the creator backing them.

Inverno2d ago

They seem to be crowdfunding the idea of a studio rather than an actual game. It's already at near half a million and there isn't even concept/any kind of proof of concept. People throwing so much money at something that'll most likely be too big for crowd funding alone and will have em partner up with a publisher.

PhillyDonJawn2d ago

I was just saying, they need to make this a game

-Foxtrot1d 21h ago

Big IPs like this shouldn’t need crowdfunding

PS3gamer4life1d 13h ago

I bet if fans put money into they won't finish it I never believe this crap
