Still hard to justify the price tag au $99.95 on PSN I really want to play it but ouch 100 dollarydoos I guess I'll pick up doing vfr first

mafiahajeri2740d ago (Edited 2740d ago )

Yeah Loved doing, doing vfr looks great too.

Good thing I never finished Syrim now I can do it in vfr.

Profchaos2740d ago

I've actually never played Skyrim before and feel like I belong to the 1 percent of gamers that can say they never played it which is funny because I absolutely loved the fallout franchise so I was super excited for a VR version of Skyrim.

I'm hoping we see a 25 percent off New years sale

Modder wires ChatGPT into Skyrim VR so NPCs can roleplay and remember past conversations

The chats with these Skyrim characters using ChatGPT are pretty clunky, but it's hard not to see some potential there, too.

Nice stuff molders revolutionizing interactions already.

Just a fun experiment that's all, inaccuracies will ruin games

ZycoFox748d ago

OpenAI developers are trying to tune & further enhance accuracy.

What will be most interesting is when they show off their NEO robot that they're working on with 1x robotics this summer that has GPT4. Could be the first time we get robots that are useful for the home.

XbladeTeddy747d ago

It's about the potential. You won't be saying that 5 or 10 years from now.

generic-user-name747d ago

At the speed AI is going, more like 5-10 months.

SullysCigar748d ago

Oh good, just what we need - woke NPCs lol

BrainSyphoned748d ago

It's not any different than the current batch of devs out there though, I'll have no issues watching them be replaced.

jznrpg748d ago

There’s so much negativity on the internet if you don’t restrict their access it becomes very negative .

SullysCigar747d ago

Yeah, that's what I mean. Algorithms are picking up trends, particular sources, 'preferred' narratives, etc., which is all evident from the testing people have done. ChatGPT even has political preferences, apparently lol

Check out my Disagree Fairly, btw! He's got the proper hump with me! I'm enjoying his attention, but it makes me a little sad that he hasn't quite gone the whole hog and given me 100 disagrees yet. That would be special :^)

Radiant AI is something I wish Bethesda would greatly improve on. It was fascinating watching npcs in Oblivion conversing, trash talking each other, and replicating human behavior in their own awkward way.

Ashunderfire86748d ago

Red Dead Redemption 2 does that way better though.

Inverno748d ago

Haven't gotten around to playing that. I get so disappointed with open world games.

FinalFantasyFanatic747d ago

I missed out on Red Dead during the last Steam sale, oh well, next sale I guess.

anast748d ago

This is going to be insane in the future.

Snookies12748d ago

Can't wait to see how this all turns out! AI is in it's infancy right now, and it's already very intriguing to see the results in these early days. It's slightly terrifying, but also largely fascinating to see unfold.

anast747d ago

I feel the same way. I'm going to ride the wave.

FinalFantasyFanatic747d ago

I can just imagine the unique experiences you'd have and share with your friends, as well as the hilarious jank that could also result from it.

anast747d ago

NPCs are going to be on another level, for sure.
