Good thing I've already done this, otherwise this would contain spoilers. They post a pic of it too.
So desperate for clicks.

This is my surprise game of the fall. I am loving it, and haven’t really been immersed in an AC games since 1 and 2. They did a hell of a job! That said, I kinda wish they had waited til the 15th to release the Anubis b/c a I haven’t had time to get to 40. At 35 now and no way I’ll make it in time.

Put it on easy and get the corrupted soul bow from uplay and you have a shot. Also a weapon that heals on hit is always good

Hardiman2751d ago

I'm at 36 and I'm about to atempt it!

KwietStorm_BLM2751d ago

Seriously though. How do you just put that right in the damn headline?

Lighter92751d ago

Thank you!

They do this crap all the time.

Lighter92752d ago

The Phylakes are pretty easy if you stay on your horse. My sleep-inducing mace helped too. When I got to the last few, my legendary hunting bow that shoots fire arrows was a big help as well. Shoot and run.

N4G Needs a goddamn spoiler warning tag or something, i'm tired of these clickbait sites spoiling games under the assumption that everyone's made the same progress as them. Also fuck anyone who approves this shit. You can't even report it for spoilers or anything so it's basically just stuck up there for anyone who browses to see.

I've Been Replaying Assassin's Creed Origins, And It's Reminded Me What Shadows Is Sorely Lacking

It took going back to a much older game to realise just how empty Assassin's Creed Shadows feels.

"I've never thought feudal Japan would be a good Assassin's Creed setting. Give me 1960s southern England with mods and rockers."

Aaaaaaand that's where I stopped reading.

Terry_B1d 4h ago

Never read anything on that website.

chicken_in_the_corn20h ago

I agree with the first part of their statement. Japan is so overused and it wasn't particularly interesting in Shadows. Now that it's been done, they can do something better.

Armaggedon20h ago

And shadows reminds me of something origins is lacking. Virtually every game is lacking something. It is because it is lacking, that it has what it isnt. Funny dichotomy that…

anast20h ago

Origins is a beautiful game made by talented people that got turned into a brutal level-gate fest by the CEOs.

PRIMORDUS19h ago

There are only a few Assassin's Creed games I played. Original, The Ezio Collection, and what I think is probably the best in the series Assassin's Creed Odyssey with the DLC. I'm done with the series, it's the same shit.

AC Origins is the last great Ubisoft game. Period. This game show how great the Ubisoft story writing once was. Also the meticulous research Ubisoft did in the field of Egyptology. Ubisoft was so pride of their research that it made a separate Touring mode just to showcase all of their study.

10 Video Game Sequels That Saved Their Franchise

Video game sequels like Assassin's Creed Origins, Doom (2016), and Fire Emblem Awakening were just what these franchises needed to be revitalized.

Immagaiden752d ago

Lmao what’s Halo Infinite doing on this list?

Who would ever say Halo Infinite saved the Halo franchise

SullysCigar752d ago

Thought the same - very bizarre!

RE7 though... my God, what a shift over RE6! That franchise was definitely going in the wrong direction, so RE7 was a welcome return to form.

ModsDoBetter752d ago

Resi 6 was and still is the worst entry in the series.
7 was a great turnaround, despite people’s concerned about the switch to FP perspective.

DMC5 definitely helped the franchise after the whole DmC debacle. Whilst it was a decent action game, it was a far cry from the series and the characters we knew.

AC Origins is my favourite in the entire AC series. Despite the switch to a more RPG style of gameplay - the setting, soundtrack, length, etc were all amazing. sadly followed up by the ridiculously long and “more of the same” Odsyssey.

I don’t feel it’s fair to say the franchise slipped with Doom 3, Doom 3 was incredibly atmospheric and took the game in a different direction but there’s no denying Doom (2016) was sensational.

Halo 4 & 5 were disappointing but Halo Infinite definitely didn’t save the franchise? What?

TheEnigma313752d ago (Edited 752d ago )

I'm going to have to go with SMB 3. I was around when SMB 2 first came out and people hated it. 3 is still arguably the best mario game created.

HellspawnPR1981752d ago

"Halo Infinite"? Worse Halo ever. Whoever made this list just lost all credibility.

Hofstaderman752d ago

In future lists of a similar nature I have a suspicion Final Fantasy XVI will feature.
