Today Nintendo has shared a Japanese TV spot for its Switch exclusive JRPG title Xenoblade Chronicles 2.
Xeno fans rejoice! The six-part saga has finally been told!
Xenogears was originally supposed to be a six part series, but Squaresoft cut the budget for the first game and canceled future plans. Xenosaga, published by Bandai Namco, was its spritual successor, and it too was supposed to be a six part series but was cut to a trilogy after subpar sales for Xenosaga 2.
Future Redeemed is by far the best DLC of the Xenoblade series, achieving its lofty goals of introducing new characters, reconnecting with older ones, and closing a narrative that Monolith Soft’s main man Tetsuya Takahashi has been trying to tell since 1998.
DualShockers Writes "Xenoblade Chronicles 2 features a wide range of characters. Amid the cast of Rex, his allies, and even his enemies, you'll find many interesting personalities throughout your playthrough. However, among all these endearing heroes and villains, few come close to being as interesting or compelling as Poppi."

GOTY
First spot made me smile and feel calm yet enthused for the adventure ahead.
Second spot hit me right in the feels with the romantic and emotional music and scenes.
Third spot stoked my battle spirit and really gave a look into how serious the game may get at times, which makes me look forward to the story even more.
Now THIS, is a AAA RPG.
It doesn't even really feel like a Xenoblade title outside of the battle mechanics. This feels fresh and new, and I think it's something Nintendo and Monolith Soft should definitely be very proud of.
December 1st cannot come soon enough. Alrest awaits!
This is looking so cool. Can’t wait for December. It is great that Nintendo doesn’t wait until the end of the month like most of their recent releases.
