Mafia III runs at 1728P on Xbox One X with extra graphics enhancements over PS4 Pro (which runs the game at 1440P). It also includes HDR support, which Hangar 13 has no plan to add it to PS4 or PC.

Let's be honest do PC really need HDR right now? Especially with the 4K and 1440p gsync monitors 1ms 144hz that's out now. Not to mention games already look great in 1440p 60fps to 120fps and Nvidia DSR looks great too for old tvs

I've used both. Unsurprisingly, I've never managed to get them to upgrade my monitor to make it capable of displaying a wider colour gamut and better contrast.

It'd be nice to think devs would do it "for the fans", but I don't think this game was a smash hit and the devs may not have that luxury. They may need to do things for the money, or not at all.

If new games start shipping with features missing from some platforms and not others it'd be a bigger concern. Fortunately we're not really seeing that at so far, and both the Pro and X look like they're doing well enough that it won't play out like that.

It's kind of like the bullcrap that Xbox One X hasn't gotten a MGSV patch either, but PS4 Pro just got it the other day. There is no reason to not patch other platforms unless there is hardware limitations.

Well every game could reach 4K 60fps, developers just have a certain "limit". Do we want meduim textures and low shadow quality to reach 4K 60fps, or do we want to balance out everything.. I have a MSI GTX 1080 armour OC, and a intel I7 6700k cpu.. I still have to make compromises to obtain 4K 60fps..

Great game. Made me wish I hadn’t upgraded & just kept my O.G PS4 & waited for an Xbox X. I’ve been genuinely pretty disappointed with my Pro so far.

I hope at least the competition now will fix the issue if lack of support for the Pro.

This is why we have to turn to the mod community maybe they can do some kind of fake HDR, or at least something close to real HDR.
