Revealed and released on Paris Games Week, Oure seemed like a promising, beautiful game but ends up as being yet another flawed imitation.
Oure is the new release from Heavy Spectrum. All you need to do is fly around and save they dying world that your parents live in. Simples. Time to slip into a nice silk kimono and zen my way through the game. Kev takes a trip into a magical world.
Rebecca Stow writes: Oure was Paris Games Week surprise PS4 fantasy game. Developed by Heavy Spectrum, the footage showcased in Paris intrigued and the announcement that the game would be released only a few hours later was a marketing masterstroke.
There are clearly some shining moments in Oure, like the first time players encounter a titan, or the first time the dragon dives into a cloud bank and emerges into a climb. This initial thrill quickly wanes with a lack of interesting things to do and frustrating controls.
