I have a decent PC that runs most games at medium to high, no way I can reach 4K tho or even 1440p.

i7 2600k
8GB RAM
1080p monitor

I'd have to get a new GPU, CPU and monitor to get a decent rig running 4k/30fps. I'd have to get everything used to even come close to the price of the 1X.

Sony absolutely has the variety because they control most of the 3rd party Japanese Devs. A lot of those games listed are pretty niche Japanese games, but regardless the variety is still there.

I think all Xbox had was:

Halo Wars 2
Forza 7
Super Lucky's Tale
Voodoo Vince Remaster
Phantom Dust re-release
Cuphead
Tacoma

Then of course a good handful of Indies and Early Access games like PUBG, Everspace and Conan etc. since they are the only console that allows Early Access.

Around here is that really necessary? Any one of these articles pretty much just recites everything we already know, and simply frames the opinion of if one should buy it or not into a singular opinion of the author, which said reader would either already agree or disagree with.

In short, the article is unlikely to convince one to buy or stay away from in any way. To extend that, articles like these are just to drive ad revenue to the site, because that's all they really care about.

So basically, it's click bait....even if it's well written, as they're opinion pieces, and not critical analysis of the system to inform readers who may not be in the loop.

Sadly for Xbox, the power seems mildly impressive, but all that power without a library to take advantage of it? That's a serious issue.

I won't write it off just yet, but MS will have to get their a**es in serious gear, if they want to catch the hype wave before it fades with a future Sony announcement. There is a 'window' of opportunity here.

Seeing that it's just boosting off it's old lackluster library of existing XBO exclusives including old XB & XB360 games with no new interesting XBO exclusives out at this present time & on the horizon this machine is for diehard XB fanatics that basically owned all 3 generations of XB hardware & software.For folks that fit into that criteria that's not a bad thing at all do enjoy the X,but for me that would be a newcomer I see no need at all to buy an X seeing it doesn't have anything at this present time that I'm interested in with the exception of 2 games & that wouldn't warrant a purchase.

I remember before Eurogamer brought DF, they were always trying to suck up to MS, and almost always made the 360 versions of games reign supreme based off the most minimal of differences.

Then Sony PS4 was obviously delivering the better visuals, and they couldn't talk up the X1 much, and since Eurogamer brought them, I think they reigned them in a bit.

Now, they're all trying to suck up to MS again, despite not having much to compare between the X1X and Pro, and making mountains out of nothing, and marginalizing the fact that some of the improvements aren't as big as they actually should be.

Now someone tell me do i buy a ps4 slim or a Switch? uncharted and bloodborne would be great, but then again i haven't touched rise of tomb raider yet and am sick of the souls series. hmm. seems like switch might be better for something completely different and fun gameplay. For me not right now I mean it don't really have any new games they're just enhanced games that I already beat. And I thought to myself last night I didn't buy a PS4PRO until 6 months ago if I bought it when it launched I'd be pissed and because I would want the PRO with 4k. I have an Xbox One S it supposed to do 4k but it does it with only a handful of games and it has a 4k bluray player in it and that didn't workout to well I actually didn't know it had a 4k bluray player in it for 4k ultra bluray movies I think thats pretty cool that its in the Xbox One S. I admit now that my problem with the Xbox One X is the fact that I went out and spent $299 on the Xbox One S. Both Sony and Micorosft should have went for 4k back in 2013 not let people buy the consoles that aren't really powerful then say hey lets release a 4k upgrade I'm glad I waited for the PRO because if I bought a PS4 and they said were bringing an upgrade out I'd be like wtf are you kidding me? I'll buy the Xbox One X I said this before but I want to see what it can really do I want them to show me a game like Forza 8 or Gears of War running a game in 4k 30-60fps on a new game engine not these outdated ones.
