It doesn't need PS games but it needs a great line up of diverse interesting exclusives to get folks interested in the console.Multi plats that you can play on PC & other consoles including playing old games with an increase of resolution is not cutting it.People want consoles for interesting unique experiences that you can not play on other consoles that is what having different gaming consoles are for,to differentiate from the other.Sea of Thieves,PUBG,Crackdown 3,SoD2 are just ok XBO need much more on their exclusive shelf to stay in the game & attract newcomers.

This article hits the nail on the head, regardless of power it's still an Xbox. I'm certainly not disputing it's not an amazing bit of kit. But unfortunately Microsoft can only dream of making amazing games like Mario odyssey, the Sony exclusives that really excite gamers and make them want the system. I would of bought an Xbox ages ago if the games were there.

Yet again, another article that instead of reviewing the hardware, tries to turn it into an "xbawx haz no gamez" argument. Xbox has 3 AAA exclusives coming in the next 6 months. How many does ps have in that period? I'm not saying they won't have a couple more, but Xbox consistently had "a couple more" every year for the 1st 3 years. We know nothing about the Xbox lineup beyond that, but that doesn't mean they don't have anything, it simply means they don't have anything we know about, which is a completely different argument.

Ahh! The "Xbox has no games" topic. What's interesting about this topic is the saying "Xbox has no games" doesn't literally mean Xbox has NO games. It means the system has VERY LITTLE quality new IP. and/or.. it doesn't have many exclusives at all due to it's ecosystem with Windows.

"Xbox has 3 AAA games coming in the next 6 months" Crackdown 3, Sea of Thieves, and State of Decay 2. I'd only classify 1 of those games being "AAA". It's still nice that Xbox at least a few exclusives in 2018.

"How many does PS have in that period"... 6 months is an irrelevant time frame; the entire year is a better picture to look at . Playstation as at least 8 confirmed exclusives coming out in 2018: Ki No Kuni 2, Days Gone, God of War, Detroit Become Human, Shadow of the Colossus, Spiderman, Yakuza 6 MLB The Show 18.. ect. There will probably 1 or 2 more announced at PSX. The point is PlayStation will have more in 2018.

That is false. It only had more during launch. 3 PS v 5 Xbox. But here's the kicker that people seem to forget.. PS3 had The Last of Us, Beyond 2 Souls, God of War Ascension, Gran Turismo 6, Sly Cooper, and MLB The Show release in 2013 during the last year of PS3 generation. Taking this into consideration, only having 2 games at the console's launch seems forgivable. 2014 the two were tied. 2015 PS had more. 2016 was tied.. and 2017 PS demolished.

No, just, no. AAA exclusives wise, Xbox handily beat ps EVERY year till this one. Your definition of AAA must be wrong, because Sony THEMSELVES admitted their 2014/15 lineup was, and I quote: "SPARSE". All PlayStation had was a couple of exclusives early in the year, and MAYBE 1 in the holiday period EVERY YEAR till this one. Last year, in terms of AAA, Sony had: ratchet and clank, sfv, uncharted 4 and....tlg. xbox had: gears 4, quantum break, recore, forza horizon 3, dead rising 4. That 5 for Xbox and 4 for Playstation. Your definition of AAA must be VERY different from the ACTUAL one. As I said, we know nothing about the games coming beyond q2 2018, but that doesn't mean they don't have exclusives coming, only that we don't know what they have coming.

We can do a ‘list war’ if you’d like. The only year Xbox beats PS with the number of exlcusives is launch, (only a few months.). Sony themselves may have called 2014/15 ‘sparse’, but the number of games don’t lie. Xbox doesn’t beat them at all. That’s a brute fact.

Dead Rising 4 isn’t an exclusive. It then goes to 4v4.

Now look at 2017.. Complete annihiliation when it comes to exclusives. Not to mention the plethora of games exclusives coming out in 2018.

I own a Pro, X1S, have a Switch inhouse as well and will be receiving an X1X this week. I own each because everyone excels at something. I don't understand why people get so flustered over who has/does what over the other. That's like only dating hispanic girls because of thier booties lol. Seriously tho this argument is as old as time (remember atari vs. coleco, sega vs nintendo?) and people will always buy what suits their needs best. For example, my son is 11 & autistic I bought him a switch because I found his online experiences on PS4/X1 to be a little too toxic for his comfort. I went with Nintendo's family console instead and he loves it, Mario Kart over CoD FTW, he hasn't been told to go suck/f@€k anything ever since.

its just so sad. such a strong console but absolutely nothing to play on it. yea multiplatform games will be better in it maybe but would anyone really pay 500 for it if u can have the same experience with a 250 dollar console, just for multiplat?

i always said the X should have existed alongside the Ps5. but oh well. this is beyond fan favouritism, its just ridiculous. what were they thinking? xbox one was almost non existent this gen, the usual flagship games and that's it really. i havent turned on my xbox one in over a year now, and i probably end up selling it cause its just in the way na.
