Wanting a piece of Pyra in Xenoblade Chronicles 2

Thoughts on the sexualized design of Pyra in Xenoblade Chronicles 2.

Any time a character is anything more than flat-as-a-board, and is not dressed in the floppiest and most concealing of outfits, it will be considered sexualized?

She's a cute character with a distinctive style.

She is sexualized, no doubt. Just look at the size of her boobs and where the outfit leads our eyes.
It's possible for a character to wear skimpy outfits without being totally sexualized. For example Yuna in FF X-2 or any of the girls in FF 13.

I mean, granted, she technically IS an object given she's a fantasy character, but I think that's besides the point.

I don't know about anyone else here, but the first thing that my eyes were led to, were her own eyes, and the wings on her back.
Not "Look at her TITS! They're HUGE!"
But then again, I'm 33 and learned a long time ago that looking at tits first is one of the worst ways to judge any kind of female, so maybe that ingrained lesson-by-experience is just popping up here unconsciously.

This is just tastefully attractive, IMO.

Now, if Pyra's personality were that of a flirt that displays herself in as seductive a manner as possible towards Rex, through suggestive poses/words, then I might be inclined to agree with you guys.

It's a typical female character in a JRPG, get over it. Did you freak out over the insanely dumb looking Valkryia in Valkyria Revolution? That woman makes Dragon's Crown Witch look flat chested. I think that game made DOA's boobs jealous.

There is nothing wrong with their designs. Its a thing in japan for demigods or super human females to look like that. Each with a unique personality to match the look. Plus why not make the girls look good? If people wanted normal, they wouldnt be playing the game..
