Every gamer and football/soccer fan knows that there are two major games out there, and with every new release there are battles that takes place to see which one is the better to get and which one has great new features. In my opinion, both deserves their respective place."
Like all great photographs, the covers of the FIFA and Pro Evolution Soccer video games capture a moment in time. But which ones have been best?
Rob from WellPlayed writes about why PES is his go-to football game
I have been playing this series since Winning Eleven 3 on PS1 so i know all about it.
I really don't think PES has improved much (especially since 2015).
The players are just as dumb, you cannot control each player freely and you cannot anticipate opponents next move and place your player where you want to. Moreover, players have this tendency of "pushing" the ball out to corner while my left stick is directed to the opposite direction, goal keepers cannot run and prevent the ball from going to corner (by pressing triangle or X).
If you collide with an opponent, you momentarily lose control of that player and you need time before he can react to the button you are pushing (too late the ball is lost and taken by a player who came from so far away)..
these flaws have been there since PS1... they still cant offer a fix.
Pes is absolutely the king and has always been that, and now they have some great licenses as well, looking good. Only this fifa has been in front with are the licenses.
These "why A is better than B" articles usually reads: "because I personally like it more".
Oh sorry, did you think football was done with now the World Cup was over? Not a chance! Here are six of the best football games on PS4.
