Lots of speculations here. Will they announce Tales PS3? Ace combat for the PS3? Tekken 6 for the 360? And what the hell happened to Cellius? The Sony x Namco joint studio.

cmrbe5833d ago

i wouldn't be surprise at all if Tekken 6 goes multi-plat unless Sony pays up which i doubt they will.

SixTwoTwo5833d ago

Tekken 6 going multi would not shock me at all and neither would the ensuing "PS3 is teh sukzers" blogs that would sprout all over the net.

Conference starts in about 15 minutes :0

Namco is what it is today thx to the Playstation 1 (Tekken 1-3), I really doubt they'll betray Sony. But I still pray for Tekken 6 to become multi-platform, that would be sweet!

im expecting news from Cellius. We havent Heard from Cellius for a while, even from Project Aces. Project Aces is supposively Taking Charge at Cellius according to those Magazine scans from those 3 Cellius games 2 years ago. Chances are we wont see an Ace Combat game on the PS3 for a long time, and its best for that to happen, the series has gotten a bit stale since Zero.

Yeah, I wonder what happened to Cellius? Anyways, I seriously want another Xenosaga (or at least something set in the same universe) or even brand new Xeno-series of RPGs altogether. Please Namco Bandai make it happen :).

I bet it's going to be another gundam game.
Hopefully it's not as lame as crossfire.

Yeh and final fantasy is where it is today because of nintendo and look how that turned out.

I do hope tekken stays only on sony however as i hate all this multiplat-crap. Its getting rediculas, why even build 2 Hd consoels when everything goes on everything anyway. (mostly)

Game Journalism is too corporate to trust

Game reviews have been around since the mid-1970s. Play Meter was the first of its kind. During their time, it was mainly coin-operated machines that were covered, as certain arcade games that many of us consider classics such as Space Invaders were popular. Other publications sprang up, such as Arcade Alley in 1979. From then on, gaming journalism was on the rise. Electronic Games Magazine, Famitsu, The Games Machine, Nintendo Power, and others all gave way to gaming journalism’s growing popularity and importance. In the beginning, gaming journalism was about the love of the games, the history of the product, and giving potential consumers genuine insight. The passion was there. The commitment was there. The insight was there. And most importantly, the trust was there.

That and a bunch of haters have made gaming a big negative cesspool.

lodossrage19h ago

True, that's almost as much of a problem as the gaming media itself

thorstein6m ago

They've become nothing more than corporate shills. Rather than speaking truth to power, they're just looking at the latest clickbait no matter how false it is.

The straight up lies are annoying. Then journalists claim that a lie is an opinion. Um... no.

I have to disagree. Personally, I feel like DD2 still needs a lot of optimization. I really dislike games that try to sell a bunch of DLC when their game is still a mess.

This, RDR2, Bloodborne.... and of course, Life of Black Tiger.
