Kung Pow is what I call these reviews. I have to say the best platform for making your voice heard is the PC. I love my PS4 and xbone but PC reviews on steam get things done is like 15 minute. No joke. See how fast the response is.

Cmv382391d ago

Which is a gift and a curse. But the good out weighs the bad.

Eonjay2391d ago

Agreed. Got some console guys threatening to kill themselves if we complain to their Gods. PC gamers understand that they are the ones with the power.

MrFisher212391d ago

You are the joke to my laughter. I appluad you. Peasant.

NohansenBoy2390d ago

Indeed. Anyone who has ever tried controlling the PC market has failed every time. Not even MS can get a small grasp on controlling the PC gaming market despite their OS being used and it would be a disaster if they tried going closed source with Windows.

FullmetalRoyale2391d ago

Yeah I play on console, but you aren’t kidding with these reviews working on PC. You guys just demand respect, and I respect that.

NohansenBoy2390d ago

This is why I love PC gaming so much. I can control my own experience and no one can tell me what to do and publishers/devs know that we pay their bills so trying to screw us over in any way is a huge risk not worth taking.

From Stream Sniping to breaking the 'no microtransaction' promise, to the lag and lack of optimisation, and now this, which in itself is barebones with a sheer lack of content even for 'early access' (well it was a barebones and at the time lack of content game which won the GOTY at the TGAs last year so no surprise others think they can get away with it as well). With such debacles I'm surprised people are still putting up with playing this fad.

BlindGuyMcSqueazy2391d ago (Edited 2391d ago )

Stream sniping: not their fault. Can be done in every game. Plus Streamers can opt to put a delay in their streams.

Microtransaction promise: they never said they wouldn't do it. They just said it wouldn't be part of early access. Either way it's all just cosmetic shit. It doesn't change the game whatsoever.

Lag: could be on your end. Thousands are playing every day with no issue.

Optimisation: I've played on a low end GPU and a 1080ti. Game has always run well for me. And many others arent having problems.

Sure it's barebones. Its early access. There's a whole new map on its way. I've got 150 hrs logged and still have been everywhere on the current map.

People will drop it quick when something better releases.

Godmars2902391d ago

What are talking about: nothing has come of this yet.

More than likely the company doing this will either try to fix the lag issue, or the ads will be removed temporarily then tried again. The only thing that's happening now is that people are complaining and you're acting like that's never happened before.

Relientk772391d ago

Yeah, can't argue with that. When games on steam get bombarded with negative reviews, we all hear about it on game sites lol

Hey, just a thought: who is PUBG's biggest competitor right now? Fortnite BR. Which is a f2p, something ads are normally associated with. Could this be a dry-run on Bluehole's part to test the viability of f2p, to more directly compete with Fortnite?

Play Fortnite. Fewer issues, more fun. Oh, and it's free.

This game is getting worse and worse, week after week. Seems like devs wanna shut down the game. That is what you get for paying and praising a game in early access. Gameing in 2017

BlindGuyMcSqueazy2391d ago

How is it getting worse? There are near weekly updates that continuously improve and add to the game. If you're going to shit on something don't be vague, provide examples.

nowitzki20042391d ago

$30 and already played 100's of hours. I think it was worth it lol.

FinalFantasyFanatic2390d ago

Personally, I think the worst thing about PUBG is that it's heavily optimized, so it runs like crap on everyone's system. I think they're getting a bit full of themselves thinking they've made the genre and kicking up a stink with Fortnight.

Jaypi032391d ago

Really? This just strikes me as greed on Pubg's part, the game already has millions of users, so 30 x million is at LEAST 30 mil minimum, yet somehow it's STILL not enough to the point where they need in game ads? I see small indie games with lesser player bases managing to make multiplayer games and have them last without ads but you're telling me they can't?

This is why people will just play Fortnite battle royale, not only is it FREE, there's no ads. At this point Fortnite should just put "Not only free to play, also 100% ad free!" as a tag. They let the money go to their head, this is why we can't have nice things, because there's always someone trying to take an mile when given an inch.

I don't even own Pubg, I was thinking about buying it, but at this point, i'll be more likely to play Fortnite only cause it's free.

Frodosmugins2390d ago

Battle Royale is free but the coop game is not and coop is much more fun than Battle Royale.

notachance2390d ago

the coop will be free too next year

zerocarnage2390d ago

Yeah the main game to fortnite is the real cream and to be honest it's where I stick at, the battleground is a nice add on but I love all the development of my characters, storm bases, resourcing, doing all the different types of modes and so on.

To me fortnite doesn't need to depend on one game mode as it has tons of different modes and challenges, that is what sets it apart from pubg.

Frodosmugins2390d ago

Yes but if you want to play now you must pay.

And yes coop is very good. Made by GOW team with great coop game experience.

kevnb2388d ago

theyve sold 13 million copies at 29.99, valve takes 30% ... So 272 909 000 in their pockets.
