Cuphead File Size Revealed

Cuphead file size has been revealed for the Xbox One and Windows 10 PC version of this long awaited 1930's style cartoon platformer coming in at a decent disc size. It's hard to believe that Cuphead is finally releasing, but grab a coop partner and get ready for a thrilling throwback experience.

Last time I checked Mario wasn’t hand drawn and 4k and needs to be heavily optimized to run on minimal hardware. That’s like calling out a bmw m3 for getting worse mileage than a Honda Civic.

Cuphead will not render in 4K on any machine because the source hand drawn material is limited to 1080p.

Yeah, I'm super excited for it, but can also see a wide range of scores. I think the artwork will give it some bonus points, for just being a different experience, or at least the feeling of a different experience. I can also see it just not being everyone's "cup" of tea. I for one don't put too much weight in critic reviews. If I like it, that's all that matters to me

The game looks unbelievably good. The art style is just fantastic. It's on believable now looking at it that no one's done a similar Style 1930s cartoon game before. and as a Topper when I hear stuff like the developers had to release their houses in order to get money to continue working on the game. To me this games and Instant by perhaps it will be game of the year and it was truly made by gamers for gamers. Talk about dedication I hope it gets good review scores

This is coming out on GOG also, the 29th. That one surprised me, as it means no DRM. That's right, no intrusive Denuvo or Steam restrictions to deal with. If I decide to get this game, it will definitely be the GOG version.

The game should do fairly well. Its coming out on multiple platforms and services and its a game with a lot of appeal and a unique look. I can see it doing great on both platforms.

Are you confusing n4g fanboy statements and speculation with developers with statements? I mean it was well known that ROTR was coming to ps4 over 6months before it released on Xbox:

"PS4, PC Get Xbox Timed Exclusive Rise of the Tomb Raider in 2016"

-Cuphead is due out on Xbox in a few days, yet the dev has no plans for a ps4 release. Note, I'm not saying a year, two years or more from now that won't change but the FACT is right now it doesnt look that way. Also again just because random gamers on n4g say "its exclusive" doesn't mean the devs lied to you because they only announced it for one platform at launch.
